Got back out to the construction site with loaded fill dirt and dug some incredible relics and coins. The brass portrait in an oval shape is a mystery? If anyone has any idea as to what it could be, please comment. Other items dug include 1855 French Coin, 1852 Trime, some kind of old silver British Pence coin, a beautiful sportsmans button, a few different types of Enfield Bullets and more.

Maybe a cameo pendant?
No... not a cameo.

"cameo, hard or precious stone carved in relief, or imitations of such stones in glass (called pastes) and mollusk shell. The cameo is usually a gem (commonly agate, onyx, or sardonyx) having two different coloured layers, with the figures carved in one layer so that they are raised on a background of the other."

I could just be seeing things but that portrait looks kinda like a military portrait?
Yeah, I think so too. Reminds me of a civil war soldier. But I don’t know?

The oval item with initials and wings looks like mourning jewelry.

Update - Just watched the video. Lapel pin... Not so sure about mourning jewelry now. Pretty cool tho.
