Unknown Item???

I found this in the ground around an old farm home with a old building taken down, this was in the ground about 4 inch down. Anyone know what it may be

I'm not sure because the photo looks a little grainey(not really a problem), but to me that looks like a decorative part of an old set of toy guns and holsters. I used to have a set as a boy. I think they were made by tyco or something like it, and it came with two cap pistols in dual leather holsters. (really suede, and cheap at that) also there was a vest with a badge on it. Made for playing cowboys and indians with!
I believe that thing came off one of the holsters! Good-Luck!

Thanks a lot, as it just may that, as I did have them myself when I was young but just can't remember if it has those kinds of things on mine (smile) but it's size is 2 1/4 long from high to bottome 1 1/4 from wide inchs. Main thing is it's old and a keeper (smile).

Looks like a saddle and stir-ups from here, or a kettle being eaten by a sea-monster
