Yesterday I went back to the area where I found a blowhole button, 1/2 cent coin and tomback button.
I didn’t find much yesterday but I did find this small flat cuff button.

Maybe I am seeing things but i think I see the word BEST at the bottom. A star to the right of BEST and what looks like a bird facing to the left at the top.
Anyhow, that’s my find for the day.
Not much, but I didn’t get skunked!
Any ideas on who the manufacturer would have been and how old it is?

I think its one of the many British, probably Birmingham, button backmarks from the mid 1700s to the mid 1800s. Someone else may be able to be more precise.

If it were mine I would throw it into a rock tumbler for a half an hour.
