Updated post!

I would like to thank my friend Brian on TN(brianc053)
for further researching this arrow point through Peter Schichtel. Peter was kind enough to elaborate in further detail.

Thank you Peter!

Peter Schichtel - Naming point types is not an exact science . Although many point types have multi attributes and defy precise nomenclature a good many can be put into categories and groups types. The point in the picture has characteristics of a Morrow Mountain type it also looks like a Snook Kill type- they are often hard to distinguish. South Jersey is the far most north that the Morrow Mountain type is found , however, South Jersey is dead center in the Snook Kill range. I would most likely suggest that this point is a Snook Kill point or knife type. The date range is 2500 - 1500 BC making it Middle Archaic piece. Material appears to be chert found in NY state.

Original post - Had a few nice finds from today. Starting off with a Native American arrow head. If anyone has any information on this type please share. Also found a few large decorative buttons, barrel tap, and a 1865 Indian head penny. In all a good day!
