It's a cs116 va3a. "Soup bowl" variety with no backmark. Definitely pre war but not entirely sure on a date.

Thanks guys! @dan, this one once out of the ground was screaming pretty high but a lot of flat buttons and such that I dig are mid to low on the scale. I believe it's purely the composition of whatever you're digging but I'm sure other people on here can explain a little more in depth. As for this button a lot of really cool stuff has come out of this spot, such as a few Maryland buttons I've heard of, and the cob I dug last week, but I never expected this one to be hiding in the area!

That button looks to be in absolutely beautiful condition. I've never dug one but, as a Virginian, it's definitely on my wish list. Congratulations.
