Had a couple of hours this afternoon, on a maze stubble field. Maze seems to be grown, more every year now. The field as plenty of modern trash on it, so there was no lack of digging. Managed a broken hammered silver coin. It’s a short cross, so dates from 1180 to 1247. This field usually produces eyes only, worked pieces of flint. These date back thousands of years, and are always nice to find. Robert
