Hello all.
I've been hunting this early 1900's fairgrounds for years now.
I hit it hard for one year with a Whites Spectrum XLT, then for three years with a Minelabs Sovereign GT.
I made some good finds then took three years off.
This year I bought a Equinox and I am amazed.
Just this year alone I've found more loot than the four years with other detectors.
Are detectors just getting better in the iron, or am I just getting better?

See the image for this years finds; a very small area... Forget in the horse play areas. They removed 1' of soil to add the sand. no targets at all...
The dots show where I found coins.

Well done on the silvers!
Given that you have been detecting for years now, and the machines that you previously used, I'm going to go with the technology advancements with the Nox.
Even though there wasn't anything wrong with the older machines, the newer ones are just more advanced.
Now if that Google Earth shot is what you have done, you have a whole lot of ground to cover yet at that site.
