I'm not all that sure if a little flour gold is a reason to bring in anything except a click rating.
The old leather shoe sole brought more interest actually........

That flour gold adds up quick. This little 3" was doing 1 gram an hour out there.
Upon further inspection the leather sole appeared to be an old womens shoe.

CGC your making me home sick for Colorado ! I used to dredge the Arkansas River above the GPAA claim and you show what we got . Lot's of Black Sand and fine gold! I sure loved dredging there on my friends claim with the CCC (Colorado Culture Connection) boys . As you show , there is good gold to be found in the area's that are harder to get to ,BUT very worth while. Wyoming (Medicine Bow Mtn's) is another favorite that I liked and miss
