can someone please edit the RCT post #1... delete the "
*** PLEASE REFRAIN FROM replying with quote to another users post IF IT HAS a picture added to their post.
(doing this will buildup lag on thread over time as we have found out with previous threads)***
(P>S - Picture part can be deleted from the quote in text box when "reply with quote" is used)"

Thanks

John,

These issues are the last on my list of problems.

If they cannot be corrected easily, I understand.

I've had to just let a lot of things go from my past....
After all, it's just me re-reading my past posts.

But the picture thing.

I really have issues with that.
Can we focus on that?
No more red "X's" and a jumble of pictures at the end of a post...
Please?

Best,

Scott
Can you pm me some links to the threads with this issue?

Edit: I had to remove the ability to rotate images for normal users. It does not have permissions properly setup, so any user can rotate anyone else's images. You will have to request a moderator/admin rotate the image for you.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for working on the forum. A few things I've noticed on mobile use (checked in android and IOS):

1) Signature line image only displays in landscape, not in portrait
2) sponsor banners have moved to the bottom of all the forums instead of the top
3) forum posts are now displayed oldest first instead of newest first. This causes most of us to post comments on posts that are over 10 years old.

Thanks for looking into these items!

Are you using an app or browsers on smartphone. You have the option to use the phone in desktop mode too.

So you liked it when the doctors didn’t know what to do, they just bled a person.

I do not like changes. It always makes things worse never better.
The software has fixed a lot of issues, the ", ? ' that was causing problems is now gone as well as other issues that could not be fixed on old software.

I use an iPhone and the Safari browser and things work fine.

What is "Desktop Option"??
when you use an android if I press the 3 dots in the upper right on the address bar of a website you get a drop-down menu one of the options is Desktop site.

I don't have iPhone but it is there, see if this helps.

I personally have yet to get used to the changes - those changes certainly impact my surfing here. Always had TNet up in a separate browser versus the many other places I surfed at the time = just like right now.

However life goes on and I'll get used to TNet again, and then again through the following generations to come.

I'll be a member till the dirt covers over me :)

Have you tried the desktop option on your phone browsers?
I just tried the desktop version on both phones. IOS 15 on Iphone 13 pro max still needs to be in landscape mode to show signatures. The android desktop version reduces the print to such a small size it's unreadable.
