Are they brass?If so I think they are off a brass pot (kettle) for the handle 10055.1L.png Not sure of the name of that part.Now that I look at them more they could be copper.

parts that a bucket handle would have been looped into and then what you have would have been riveted into the bucket?

or maybe pot / pan handles
