They tell me it doesn't exist. They tell me I can't crumble gold with my fingers. I have found the elusive pure gold! It tests pure some of it is in octahedral shapes. It's truly amazing. I need to know who can help me get this purity authenticated. All help will be appreciated! Last pic shows 22kt nitric acid test results..

This is an example of you trying to post something different when you actually posted up the same photo as the first grouping of blurry photos in artificial lighting.
The request was to be taken in natural lighting, in the palm of your hand. Not in a darken room with a lamp shining on the rock.
The only thing different in your attempt is the date stamp of the post up of the same photo.

Days ago? I posted this last night. Anyhow specific gravity? Who can test that? I don't claim to be an expert. I'm here trying to figure this out. Not be discredited. I have tested as much as I can at the current moment. Trying to find where to send it to be tested so I can give all these details you ask for. Who can test a super soft crystalline gold for us all to know?
You have a scale (because the photo was taken with the specimens on a scale). Now that you know how easily the specific gravity can be measured, are you interested in finding your answer? We will know by the nature of your next post.

And you would be perfectly correct to do so.
This whole thing is like a slow boat to nowhere, tooling circles around in the Pacific Ocean while wondering where the North Star is? The declaration of the never before seen object, poor pictures,no attempt at all to answer any questions put out there by the readership, excuses, and more excuses. I wonder why people do this? For jollies? To Jack around people trying to help?

Maybe they will come through with some answers.

That would be irritating. But could be much more sad. They could believe what they have been posting. I am still waiting on any proof.

Images provided are of a gold colored pyrite. Depending on the chemical stability, an acid test could show it to be over 22k.

A professional assay will confirm or rule out any opinion given on this thread. An acid test is not an assay.

Time for more coffee.

No assay necessary. Pyrite has a specific gravity of 5…easily tested with a scale.

I am kinda shocked at how invested in this some of you fellas are.

It looks more like pyrite to me. I hope for his sake it’s pure gold and he’s sitting on a fortune.

Does pyrite leave a gold streak?
Here's something I didn't know-so this thread was worth some investment after all.

"Simple Field Tests
Iron pyrite is attracted to magnets, but real gold is not magnetic. Real gold also leaves a gold streak when scratched against a small bit of unglazed ceramic, like the back of a piece of bathroom tile, but iron pyrite leaves a greenish-black colored streak."

Now to the OP make a video of that test-and see what colour you come up with,

The OP is AWOL, has not been on since yesterday morning. Good information though, pepper.
