[Solved: Ethiopian Coptic Cross]

Could this be a key? Found in a goodwill bin with a cheesy frame, felt backing and one wire holding it on. All I can think of is church key or some kind of cross. no words on it. I think it's plated copper but not sure. Any ideas.

hard to tell, enough wear everywhere that it's hard to tell.

Looks like deco like it was glued on to a piece of furniture possibly due to the flat back surface...
