What is the date range on the sites where you find Spanish silvers?

I found one here in the town. The first settlers came here in the mid to late 18 - teens.

Thanks for sharing! I bet you never imagined you'd find one of those in MI! How worn down was it?
It was pretty well worn. I thought it was a circuit box punch out and threw it in the junk box...pulled it out months later and saw a readable date and some detail. I was really surprised, found it in a mid-1800’s era front yard. I will try and find a photo.

I have found several. One site goes back to 1660's. The coin was ca 1704. Most of the other sites saw Rev War activity so the latest dates are about 1780. I can't remember finding a Spanish silver dating after 1780, but have found other foreign coins dating after that, but very, very few.

I've only found 9. Here is where I have found them --

1801 1 reale; field by a modern corporate center. Field was likely a farm from the 1700s
1755 1 reale; field next to a park that dates to 1920. Same thing, likely an old farm field
1821 2 reale; backyard of a mansion dating to the early 1800s
dateless 1/2 reale; old field. Many old coppers there as well. Research shows occupancy in mid-late 1700s
1777 2 reale; Keney Park CT. I usually don't mention my sites, but I live no where near there; was just passing thru and the place looked old. Don't know anything about it
1807 2 reale; private school with permission. Likely dropped before the school and a farm field find
dateless 1 reale; park that was built/graded in the 1930s. Not much to say about this one, other than you can find anything anywhere
1822 half reale; field behind a town hall that dates back a long time. Don't know the date, but old enough for me. Coppers there as well
1803 half reale; farmhouse/field dating to same date, 1803. Found a bust half and a couple of seateds as well. Awesome site, too bad it is gone

Oh, and then there is an alleged 4 reale, which I don't count, as it is a completely smooth disk, but fits the dimensions perfectly, and others claim
it is a 4 reale. Given the rarity of that coin, I am not buying it, but I am at a loss as to what it could be. Found at late 1700s farmhouse where I
found 1793 chain cent and other coppers.

I have only found one here in Illinois. It was an 1820 Spanish Half Reale I found around 10 years ago in the yard of a home built in the 1890's. It is worn, but there was enough detail and date on it, to where I could identify it.
