They’re not natural rocks formed by water erosion. I don’t see signs of flaking, grinding or drilling.

Are the artifacts y’all discovered the same exact size or different? It would be intriguing to examine precise, detailed measurements comparing the two (ie. diameter, circumference, radius in inches or centimeters).

Ya. That is what I was thinking. No threads on it. Found in the Patapsco river. About a mile apart. They are slightly different in size.

Almodt two inches tall and two inches wide. It may be made of terracotta. It's big.

Same here. Seen them before, but can't remember for sure. Size and shape just don't seem quite right for a stopple, but can't think of anything else at this point.

My guess is that it's an old ceramic or pottery kiln stilt or riser, to keep whatever is getting fired raised for even heating
