I found this while weeding my garden in East Tennessee. Is it a fossil or an Indian tool of some kind? 0E619676-6E5D-454A-8BD1-039EEF8DBC36.jpeg 0E619676-6E5D-454A-8BD1-039EEF8DBC36.jpeg

Christen, welcome to the forums. Please give us as much information as you can such as size and what you think it is made of. If it is a small piece put a coin with it and take a picture. Larger sized items do better with a ruler or tape measure. Also include pictures from different angles. Hopefully someone will be able to ID your find.

With it having straight edges it looks to be machined some how like it could be a piece of pool coping that has all the glaze missing. Not a definitive I.D, just an observation.

Tough call, need pictures of both sides and something for size reference (like a coin fyr mentioned). Going by 1st impressions it doesn't look Indian artifact related.
