The zoomed in photo looks to be a man-made stone wall :icon_scratch:
That has what looks like a concrete barrier to the right hand side in the first unzoomed photo.
Retaining wall for erosion

Yeah, but for what purpose ? It would take 4-ever to erode those rocks:icon_scratch:

Those rocks look to me to be a typical shoreline in Hawaii

I think it just how a pattern developed as molten lava flowed and cooled leaving it to look like layered bricks.

Looks like a retaining wall. That rock is extremely hard. To shape it into blocks would take some hard work. It could be natural but doesn't look like the rest of the rocks on the shoreline. Where?

I increased the zoom and resolution to see better.
That's the best you can get.
I'm confused.

I believe there are 2 points to consider.
1- The retaining wall built in a more recent period, perhaps made to shift the focus of observation. (purposeful)
2- The structure that looks like a stone wall, even has the same color as the rocks, so it must be much older. (this one that makes me confused, something strange hides in this place, for sure).

What do you think of this theory:
The second retaining wall, is not a wall but a structure built underground, like the treasure chest and was buried, but erosion revealed the same.
And would the ancient wall be the first visible barrier for be hunters?

You might just be on to something. Try reaching out to Rick and Marty Lagina.
