What I've found so far

I just got a metal detector for Christmas. It is my first one. We've had a pretty mild winter in PA so I've had a chance to get out a little. Notice the fine collection of nails. I also found a couple of wheat pennies. I decided not to clean them as I have no idea of what I'm doing and I don't want to end up with a couple of slugs.

Just wash the coins off in the sink, that wouldn't hurt them.

That is a big pile of iron, is that a ring in lower left corner?, congrats.

The lower left is the pull tab/bottle cap section Ken I have figured out that the very loud ear-piercing beep is the shotgun shell signal. Onion I'm selling the nails cheap if your interested

I'm definitely having ring problems, I cant find one out and about and now I'm starting too see them where there not!!!
