Post a pic with adequate lighting - in the sun, with a flash or in bright light of any type - use car headlights or a good flashlight if you have no other alternative

Include a dime or quarter for size comparison

Assuming the sparkles are mica, it looks a bit like gneiss.

Was this found in commercially graded gravel? (from a quarry)

Where was it found?

The rocks look like basalt to me.
Scroll down about halfway on the page, look at the one called Levyne.

Not sure what is inside yours. Is there something metallic that is causing the shiny spots, or is it just the light reflecting off of the chalcedony looking material?
Need to do a hardness test on it.
