I don't think there is such a thing. I mean i'm sure there are foreign parts on those circuit boards no matter who makes them and claims to be made in the U.S.A..

The same could be said for Garrett's or Bounty Hunter or...

You have to take into account the raw materials used in production.

Agreed! I don't believe any electronic components are manufactured in the U.S.[ other than for Big Brother.]

We are talking treasure here and you can't compromise out of some misguided belief that your machine is made 100% in the USA. :laughing7:

A better path would be to purchase a machine made in countries that are friendly to the US and its capitalistic ideals.

Minelab is my obvious choice. Just cause their toilet spins the other way doesn't make them scary. :laughing9:

Tesoro.
Not just because of where they are made but they are a real mom and pop Company with 18 employees In (prescott Arizona.)
Whites Because they are another company that supports there local economy with jobs in a small town.(Sweet home Oregon)
And make a hi quality product.
I like keeping my money (or as much as i can in this country)

It is not about being scared to buy from other countries it is about supporting US made Goods.
Keeping people employed in the USA.

I was just making a joke.

I buy Minelab because I have seen areas where a Minelab is literally the only machine that can handle the mineralization. I would also like to purchase USA but if my perception is that their machine is inferior in a way that is important to myself then yes I am going to another company.

My second favorite company happens to be Tesoro. I have owned several Tesoros and I currently own one. They are sweet machines.

Nor is whites as some are saying.
That is like saying ALL INTEL CHIPS ARE MADE HERE.

People take this stuff like it is some kind of personal attack on them.
I am 1000000000% percent sure that none are 100% made here.
Most computer chips are made in places like Indonesia.

I would suggest sending e mails out to the company's to see which ones do use all American parts'
Bet not one would e mail you back.
If i say support american products i get some cruddy reply like i just said something about your Family.
Buy what you like. if Minelab works great in your area that is good. :icon_thumright:
I am sure they are great Detectors.
Would not base my purchase on where something was made if it was a good product.
Just dont take this stuff personal LOL

Every machine handles "the mineralization". Not every reply to a post actually addresses the post. No machine on earth, metal detector, pencil, car, anything, is 100% percent made in the USA. This is no joke. Nobody uses Tesoro. Just kidding!!!!!!!!

Hate to bust ne ones bubble... but White's is not 100% made state side! They make the machines still for the most part.. but the pinpointers are from over seas.. which is why the switches are junk... and most of the coils arent made here either

I agree with everybody else as to the components not being 100% made in America. But not only is Tesoro Made in the USA but they are the only one with a lifetime warranty.
