I can't figure out what this old wrench says on it.
Kind of looks like vuod, .? or , wood, or vood or wuod ?..I just can't tell lol

I would really like to know what that iron tool is at the top of the picture ?

How old is the toy car ?I've never dug one like that.

Then it looks like a hair barrette, pin or something , how old do you think that is?
My favorite finds are definitely the huge Skeleton Key and the 1902 Indian head penny
All found around foundations in the hills of Vermont.

If you know how old any of this stuff is, or what it is please let me know what you know.
thank you for locking :notworthy:

My guess on the iron tool at the top is a lid-lifter/coal poker for a dutch oven.

The indian and skelly are definitely the neatest finds! That key probubly was once for a chest full of gold coins that an earlier detectorist probubly dug up in that same spot a few years earlier :laughing7:

Does the toy car have the word "Dinkey" on it? Dinkey produced a set of 6 cars in the late 40's and early 50's and yours resembles one of the set.

Check and see if the suspender clip has a patent date on the back of the hasp portion. I love the old key!

The key belonged to a man named Willey In the mid 1800s ,
The house still stands but no one lives there anymore.

Your first item is a "lid lifter"... for dutch oven... kettle... pot... etc.

Wrench is some off the wall name.... square nut tractor wrench.
