I do own an AR15, built a few years back, built by a very good friend, precision was my focus, money not an issue. That gun, with a fine new 4-14 power scope, connected three shots at 100 yards after one clip of sighting it in, off the bench. I was totally impressed, being I had not shot an actual firearm in over 10 years and saw these results that one time when I first tested it. It wasn't cheap, about $1800 w/scope, total.

I figure that my airgun proficiency, rolled in to the skill with the AR15 that day. It hasn't actually been shot once since that one day but it is ready, and right by the bed, with a red dot scope. I hope I never need to test that inside my house!
