Whats This Button worth ??

i was wondering if anyone could help me with determining what this button is worth and if anyone could possibly give me any leads to where it came from the site i was at was from the 1750's to the 1860's im sure this button is made from silver and it has gold on thee sides of the center piece any information in the right direction would be a great help thanks sorry for such a bad quality shot camera wouldnt focus

Do you have a photo of the back, any markings on it ? Does it have a loop/shank or holes on the back ? Could be a military stripe but I don't think so, not sure...
