In the back yard testing out my new M6 and first coin with this machine was a dime down 7” deep. My machine came with the 9.5” concentric coil and I swapped it out with a new eclipse 6x10” dd coil because my back yard is full of junk and the soil has been fertilized over the years. The VDI sound was faint at 7” but it rang up distinctively as a dime on the VDI. I’m sure glad Whites didn’t discontinue this machine.

i've owned the m6 for 6 years even though i've bought others! found tons of items with it, it's actually the only machine i have now. i like the 6 x 10 coil and for open fields i use the 10 dd coil, does a descent job and covers more ground of course. anyway all the best with the m6!

M6 is a keeper for sure. Even if I decide to upgrade to MXT or V3i I’m still going to hold onto the M6. Thanks for the reply!

I've had an M6 since 2014 and I've found a ton of things with it. Originally I had a White's Eagle II that I bought in 1989 and figured it was time for a new machine. I'm glad I bought the M6.
