Im looking to buy a new metal detector and i was looking at the Whites Prizm III? iv read about it but i was just wondering if anyone out there who has one could tell me what it is like?

Alright mate? at the moment im using a Viking 5 Series II. I want to use it for finding coins, jewellery and relics in farmland.

I,m don't know anything about your current detector. But i'm sure you'd find some stuff with the one you're thinking of getting. I don't get into brand wars, I've done well with low end detectors myself.

Im not sure about the prism III, but my son got a prism V for his birthday, and it works really well.I use the xlt, but have tried his too. It performed well for me!! Good luck!! H.H.
