Hi Steve
Would enjoy diving with you, but our weather is looking a little unpredictable with two storms. It might be easier to plan later in the season.

Dandydon
Got your message and I will search through the masks looking for yours. There are more than a couple on the boat. Really enjoyed diving with you.

Hi Sea Hunter:
First time posting on your site. Last time I was down at Fort Pierce it was after Hurricane Jean and the Deputies escorted me and everybody else off the beaches. Fortunately a friend of mine was there the day before and recovered a 8 Escudo Gold coin.
I've always wanted to dive for treasure on the Treasure coast. I've used Hookha rig for years when I dredged for gold and hunted for coins and jewelry in lakes and the Gulf but never knew you had to be card certified. I spoke with Hal Watt's, a well known SCUBA diver and he that common sense was only needed to use a hookha since you are diving shallow and not dealing with decompression. Or did the rules of diving change?
Probably can't dive this year with Hurricane season heating up and most salvage boats don't operate during that season. But 2008, I'll have several weeks vacation that I'd be glad to use a couple of them to give you a hand.
Harry ;D

Hey Sea Hunter was wondering if you guys ever use divers to search for treasure on your wreck. I am Padi certified but live in Hawaii and wanted to come to Florida for a few weeks out of the year to help anyone on their wreck site. How does it work? I would love to hear how your team hires guys to help out with searching for treasure on your site. Please let me know or if you guys know of anyone else that could use a diver for recovery ect. Aloha ;D

Wouldn't you know it! When I have a week to dive the mighty Seahunter is hauled. Oh well it would have been short notice anyway.

Looking a little further out, how does a week around Sept. 21 sound for having an extra hand? That looks like the next time I will have any time and I really want to get down there.

Kindest regards,

Capn Juan

Well we still don't have the "Seahunter" back in the water, but hopefully we will be back in next week. In the meantime the Polly L and crew have joined us for a couple weeks while they are in between projects, Joe managed to find a nice piece of eight this morning before the seas got to big to dive.

Seahunter,

All your pics are really green.if you want to improve the natural look of the water i suggest you buy a CC30R - Color Compensating filter for your camera.the preferred choice for color correction of NATURAL LIGHT underwater has been a CC30R filter (the higher the number the more correction. R stands for red).with the filter you get warmer or more accurate colors when shooting underwater.

Hi Dell
Good to hear from you. I enjoyed meeting you at Pegleg's expo. The Polly L actually worked on that same location in 2001 and just following up on what had been a productive area in the past.

Hi Scott,
Glad to see you back in the water today. I’m planning to head home for a couple of weeks soon and hope to get a chance to dive again while I’m home if things work out. It looked like the Polly L was in close to where I worked my last couple of days on the wreck and was wondering if they found anything while they were in close? Talk to you soon.

Scott, I was by the inlet and saw you going out about 11:30 this am. Watched as you settled in tio the north of the platform, which seems to have moved a little Southwest. Good Luck!! Tim
