I have learned that people in the 17th/18th century were most keen on burying their items of value here in the UK. In the vicinity of churches give fantastic hits on my euroace, and that's all they are, hits. I will not dig, just plot the GPS location and move on.
Now, London during its ever growing state has been the site of a few good finds. Trouble is, here we have "belongings of the dead" & "mines royal" so nobody will ever share what they find...
