WNC arrowheads and pottery help with identification, please

I have spent a couple of days at a site and have found a bunch of pottery and flint chips, but today I found several points, and I wondered if anyone could help me with identification, especially the half-circle point.


The coins are a dime and pennies I found at the site to show the size of the points.

If you want. I can send you a list of Tennessee Points which covers a lot of WNC. You have to work at it with it instead of asking others to help sort your points. But gives you a sense of satisfaction. Let me know.

The Cherokee Nation has two casinos in WNC. Maybe you could ask them for help. But then you might end of drowned in Oconaluftee River.

This is a good place to begin for IDing points...

Projectile Points Identification

The large point missing the tip in pic1 looks to be made of rhyolite and is likely a broken knife. The brown piece in pic4 looks to be made of quartzite. The shiny and frosty pieces look to be made of chert/flint. The half-moon shaped piece favors a crescent knife typically found out west (https://www.projectilepoints.net/Points/Crescent.html).

I live in WNC too, depends on the county what tribe was there and I live in the Burke county area which is Catawba. I could be wrong but the two points in the first pic top left look like Savannah River. The crescent shaped one is super cool and I have no idea about it but could be some sort of tool. I love the pottery shards! I have a creek on my property where I find alot of pottery shards and an occasional point or tool, in fact I went out today and found one pottery shard.

Edit: I'm not saying it came from out west but it very well could be a small crescent knife (or thumb scraper).
