Started the day at the trash yard, found an 1840's-50's American coin silver spoon. Made by 'J. Draper', he was a jeweler in Cincinnati Ohio, worked until the outbreak of the Civil War. After the trash yard I went to a spot that dates back to 1930's-40's and I just stayed there tearing up the earth like a madman for 5 hours straight. First thing I found was a .925 WWII-era fighter plane with a propeller that spins! It was buried for 70+ years but still works. It appears to be a Japanese Zero, but it's probably just a generic fighter plane layout.

Then I found a silver 1943 war nickle, 1942 Quarter, three silver dimes, a small silver coin that someone shaped into a bowl, 14k pen nib (.5 grams), 14k rose gold ten commandments pendant (2.4 grams), many .925 ear rings, a Celtic-style .925 silver jewel-encrusted brooch, a small broken 14k ring (only .2 grams), also found a ton of worthless junk including dozens of wheat pennies that I didn't even bother to count or clean any (they all date from 1900's-1940's, think I saw one Indian in there). The fighter plane pin is for sure my favorite find from today.

So many neat finds. Is that a star on the wing of the plane? If so it's an American plane though not sure of the type. Gary

Awesome finds. I love the plane. Could it be a crackerjack plane?

Edit: I just re-read your post and you say it is .925 - I guess that won't be a crackerjack toy then.
