Braved the heat today to work over a road project. This beauty was found near the top due to the fact that a lot of soil has been moved around. Thus you never know how deep you may find a good coin in these construction areas.

Sharp coin, when you mean road project do you mean total asphalt removal? Down to the old process gravel?

By the time that I got around to this site, the asphalt was removed and the new road had been constructed. The only thing remaining was the rebuilding of boulevard.

I have a new highway project not far from me. I should go give it a shot next weekend. Nice penny you got there. Thanks for posting it.
