Complete with patent no.
Had a pretty good giggle over this one! :laughing7:

Short walk, slim pickings but I had a wonderful time!

The earring was so thick it might as well had been a normal finger ring. Marked .925.

On top of all this? An elderly couple, (older than me. :) )
Struck up a conversation with me and I now have carte blanche on a piece of pristine, private, virgin ground! Stay tuned, I believe things are just beginning to crank up! :happy3:

Thanks for peeking!

That is awesome a great new place to search! I hear the silver & gold calling your name now.

Still bringing home the silver, clad, and interesting items.
I'd keep an eye on that crew of yours, they may attempt to print out a few $100 bills, albeit small and printed backwards...you just never know!

You win the detecting demonstration.
Windchill around zero here I'm guessing.
Thanks for the warm post of suspected warmer ground!

Quite the money clip. That would keep me stoked awhile.

Congrats on the outing. And on the networking leading to another permission.

Great looking money clip !! Congrats & best wishes for some super finds at your upcoming new virgin spot !!

You are having fun. You can tell by your posts. Congrats on the new permission!

A new permission is a wonderful thing!
This new ground, private property, looks like its almost never been touched, could've been the same before Columbus! It is known however, that it has been well traveled!

That said, I know something else about "virgin" ground. Even well traveled ones. That is that there's no guarantee that *anything* will be there to be found. 😏

Still.....its all about being on fresh ground and potential....right? Its the quest!

Sooooooo....off we go! Full sails unfurled! 😊

Thanks for the send off!

The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

Three shall be the number thou shalt count and the number of the counting shall be three! Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five, is right out!

Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it!
