1830's Farm House gives up more finds

I was excited to find my oldest find this weekend: pulled out a 1783 Spanish 1/2 Reale (holed) and an 1819 Large Cent. The 1/2 Reale was only 2" deep and it was in the once frozen ground I talked about the last time I posted.

I am elated, it was so cool to find Spanish silver.

Bjorn, nice going. Your right, there is something special about that spanish silver. I found on half real and 3 reals last summer. Hope this year is as good to me. The ground up here is still mostely frozen. Just a few more weeks.
