Well, I started MDing at the end of Sept. this year. My first find ever was the half-dime, and I ended up this last week with the barber dime and the 1940 quarter. Considering it was the first month and a half of my newfound love/hobby, I think I did pretty good.
I noticed that no-one really utilizes all the signature space provided, so I figured to be REALLY original I would make up the longest signature that I could and probably just leave it as one big run on sentence because all that punctuation just takes up way too much space-HH.
Great finds for such a short time..... I have come to the conclusion that the American people throw money and jewlery away.... Here in South Africa, you really have to look for the stuff. I have found less than a quarter of the coins you have, and have been at it for around a year. Jewelery = NIL.... Good going, keep it up.
God bless
Peter

I may really be onto something then, I have yet to really hit any area "hard". I only had a month and a half of good weather, so I did a lot of scouting type searches. The half-dime barber and 1941 slq all came from the same stretch of woods.
