2008 finds!!

Hi everyone, o8 has been a good year for me I didn't get all my goals completed but came close I found my first large cent which was one of my goals but didn't find a civil war bullet. One of my other goals was to find 50 buttons but I only got 47.
Here's my favorite button a Virginia state seal.
Here's my coin finds for the year.
and here's some more buttons and my first half cent.
Hope everybody has a great new year cant wait to see everybodys finds next year.HH!

Looks like a Good Year to me! I'd take a VA state seal over a bullet Anyday!

Growing up in VA, you'd think I'd have found one--but I've never found even one good Confederate button...only Eagles, Eagles, GStaffs, and more Eagles...

Took my buddies back there and one of 'em dug a VA state seal this spring. I'm Confederate Button Cursed. Been 16 years.

So with just the VA button and the nice old coins, that is a GREAT year.

It'll probably take yo 2 1/2 hr.'s to get up from Salisbury Collector1.....but if you hurry I'm sure we can get that CW Bullet in before the year's out Great find's......Va. Button must've been an awesome dig.Goal for 09' is a CS Plate,and I'm working on it,just need some permission.....gotta be there.Sweet Dig's for 08' ,Happy Holiday's and a Prosperous New Year!!! Grat Stuff!!!!!

Hey civilman1 I would be there in a hour but the wife keeps my gas money and shes still mad about me driving five and a half hours to finds the VA button but it was worth it. Cant wait to see your cs buckle on the banner next year! Ill get me a bullet soon but if not I might have to get your help . I did find two musket balls at a confederate camp on the easternshore of VA. so I guess that will have to do to next year.

Wow, so many buttons, I have a few 3 ringers I'll trade you. LOL I hunted in Va. this year and hunted one whole day, and never found a button, but the next day I did find 5 button's one of them being a Eagle and one was a West Point button.

All I can say is You Did Good, what a year. Congrats on all your finds!
