FINALLY: IRON BRIGADE 2008--LOTS OF PHOTOS!

    Hello All,

It's a miracle that I finally got everything together for all the photos in this post. I started the clock on 2008 a month early--in December 2007 when we formed our team, the IRON Brigade. So this is really a 13 month post total for us.

    Here's our video wrap-up for 2008:

I am amazed at how wonderful this year has been--and how many holes were dug by all of us, in order to find what you see here. The keepers were literally too many to count. I have kept good totals of the best items we've dug--but I'm sure there were still some keepers that didn't make it into the many photos below.

Glad to get a reply, my friend. "2008 Annual finds" isn't the most high-profile place to spend a lot of energy making a post, methinks.

I was happy to see you were along for the ride, and I hope you and KFB will be doing more of the digging more often in 2009.

Monstrous congrats to you and the rest of the "Legendary Iron Brigade" - this is quite a testament to the talent, dedication and passion each of you have for the history of our beautiful country. I look forward to the Brigades 2009 posts and wish you all the best of luck in uncovering more of our storied past...

Hey Buckleboy, very impressive collection. Quick question. On your next to last picture, what is the object on the top left corner? I found one of those as well and wasn't sure what it was. Thanks.

Way to go guys, I've been anxiously awaiting this post to see how much you had piled up in the last year. Again, thanks for the help, and hope you have twice as much to show this time next year.
I've been itching to go, but it's been so cold you'd need a backhoe if you got a decent signal........
