So this year was pretty good to me....32 various Large Coppers ranging from a 1719 KG I to a 1834 Matron Head. But the best in the copper dept. would probally be the 1811 Classic Head Half Cent. I was also fortunate enough this year to dig a 1794 Liberty Cap, I never realized how thick they actually were. CT coppers, KG's, an 1837 Benedict & Burnham Hardtimes token, an 1816 Canadian Token, a KGI Farthing, 2 1723 Hibernia Half Pennies...Draped Busts...ect.ect. A shield nickel, V nickel, buffalo nickel...

The silver dept wasn't to shabby either. 2 Capped Bust dimes, 3 seated dimes, a few barbers, a Barber Half.....some mercs...and MY FIRST Spanish Reale...A Carolous IIII 2 reale!

Buttons!!!! My favorite things to find....I was lucky enough this year to pull some military buttons...one of my major goals for this year. Scovills Marine buttons, 2 New York Militia buttons, HudsonRiver Cadet Button, A British Officer Coat button (Rev. War) And a nice pewter button soaking in Olive Oil, convinced it's a Revolutionary War Button...we'll see.....and over a hundred common Colonial to mid 19th century flat buttons....a few nice gilted 2 peicers. I dug 2 Complete Shoe buckles this year....and a handful of frames.....A nice early pewter whistle...Thanks for lookin...sorry about picture quality and being so brief....

Thank you everyone that has helped ID coins and buttons. You guys are the best.

It may be the end of the year....but I'll still be out in the snow lookin for that lonely un-touched cellar hole.

You had a superb year, Sniffy. Lots of coppers, some early military, and loads of shoe buckles are what make for a killer of a detecting season.

Why thank you Mr. Kyle. Looking forward to seeing your year end post, I'm sure the KKC mopped up some excellent colonial goodness.
