My wive and I just had one heck of an amazing year of checking the Coinstar machines! I must admit that we have a real advantage since my wife has a delivery job that allows her to check about 5 to 10 Coinstar machines every day. I'm able to check 2 or 3 per day on my way home from my job.

Here are the totals for 2017!

97 silver Roosevelt dimes
2 mercury dimes
1 barber dime
2 Canadian silver dimes
11 Washington silver quarters
2 Canadian silver quarters
3 silver war nickels
2 silver foreign coins
72 wheat pennies
40 steel 1943 pennies
2 gold rings
$272.99 in clad coins

Is there a lot of drug use in your town ?? I agree I need to sell my machine and start hitting coinstars form a crew of people to scour all the ones daily within a 20 mile area. Good job that's amazing.

Totally awesome annual total from those coin star machines. I only wish I had more than 1 close by. I only get near one on occasion, and always check em.

Awesome totals! Your Coinstar route seriously kicks it. I had a more modest 13 silver dimes and two silver quarters. (Other odds and ends: foreign coins, 50; tokens, 12; lithium batteries, 2; pachinko balls, 1.)

I'd be interested in the date distribution on the wheats. Six of my seven (including one steel) were pre-1945, but your sample size is much larger. Others here have said that older wheats are often rejected.
