Talladega National Forest Trip

I am planning on prospecting for gold in Talladega National Forest soon. Any help on where to go there and can I use a sluice box in streams?

how did your trip go? did you find anything? were you able to use a sluice? i don't know but someone told me that they only allow you to pan there. please let me know and if you found any gold please post pics. thanks
