Hello,

I purchased this Item many years ago fronm a reputable seller, who sells antiquities mainly from Near East, but also from North Africa and Levante. The seller dont know something about this item (he sells it as a sassanian Seal !!!), but I dont find any references about this style of stone ring. Maybe it is a broken part of an near east idol? Maybe it hangs on a string (small notch in the surface of the hole)?
Diameter aprox. 1 7/8 ", weight 37,5 g
Have anyone an idea?

Thank you very much - PB-Eins

Never seen anything like that. You need to be skilled to make that. Nice.
