My family and I will be traveling to around Kingman, AZ in early April and I would like to do a bit of gold detecting in the area, but I have not been able to find any information on where I could go. Honestly, I doubt I will get rich in the process, but I would like a location that I would stand a chance of finding something and not getting shot for trespassing in the process. Can someone give me rough directions or even a rough GPS coordinate where "the public" can go to search for nuggets in the vicinity of Kingman (or know who might know)?

If you are here the first tuesday of any given month you can come to a meeting of the Mohave Prospectors, and join the club for a nominal fee for the whole family and have access to a local clain in Kingman and 3 other spots not far away, and get to speak to many knowledgeable people. If you want more info P.M. me.

;D WOW! ;)
Some of the Richest Gold Mines in Arizona are located in the Cerbat Mnts...
North of Kingman..
And!
There are nuggets galore in Gold Basin!
And
Also in the Mohave Desert Area south of Kingman
Just go to the local Library and read up on the history of the area!

And ..... !
