Probably could sell it at Bucca de Beppo (Italian restaurant chain that has a ton of Pope stuff hanging on the walls) for $50. But who knows, research the painter he may be famous!

Found it.
"Excellent oil painting on board by B. Godwin. Lower right hand corner is signed: B. Godwin; Painted In The Vatican; 1963 (NOTE DATE). The frame measures 19 1/2 inches long by 12 inches wide and 18 inches long.The frame is painted gold. Backing states professionally framed. Old wire hanger still attached. Painting is that of Pope John Paul in his early years. Glass is missing, but the oil painting is still in excellent condition. Purchased at an estate sale in 2003". The price that can be obtained here (using a 'free trial').
