Alright this one is a little easier to make out but of course, I'm still unable to read it. This is why I don't buy art. :icon_scratch:

I think that's it! There was a local artist Carol Critchfield. She is a listed artist and passed away only a few miles from here. Not a bad find for 49 cents!

I'm actually in Chicago but the painting is dated 71 so she was living here at the time.

PS: You might find out more about your painting through her family members. She was survived by her son, Paul (Claudia) Critchfield; her grandchildren, Tina (Jeff) Critchfield Huber and Kendall Critchfield; and her great grandchildren, Holden and Hayden Huber. The cemetery admin. office where she was buried may be able to provide you with info that will lead to these people--and more info on your painting.
