Help figuring out Artist on landscape painting

Need help I can't tell what the signature is on this painting is it a very nice look painting reminds me of of western landscape? Size 13X9 not counting the frame painted on canvas board can see and feel the paint so it is hand painted maybe oil painting not sure .. Back of frame is covered with brown paper should i remove the paper and see if has info on the back of the canvas board? or leave it alone?
