It's a junk kind of day

When I woke up this morning, it was gray and slightly drizzling outside. "Aha!" said I, "I will take advantage of my day off and the yucky weather and make my second ever MDing trip!"
The beach was, as I'd hoped, almost deserted. I didn't find many good things, but I'm still at that stage where I'm happy to dig up anything

That's:
1 safety pin
1 paperclip
1 nail
3 screws
1 battery
4 pulltabs
11 bottle caps
1 part of a bottle (with a metal band around it)
7 hunks of mystery metal
and 1 quarter

Not too shabby

I have many days like this, too, and am just thankful to be getting out and trying - there is always tomorrow. Thank you for posting.

R U kidding? Look at all those "good" things! Bottle caps, pulltabs, nails etc. Ahhhhhhhhh at least you are finding something and the "good" things will come. I am real good at finding that kind of stuff but sometimes.................... yep - even I manage to find a few "good" things. Keep at it! You will too!
