There are an awful lot of consistent, short ripples coming off of that "monster". Looks to me like someone under water with one of those seadoo underwater scooters. The ripples coming off of a true sea creature would not be so conistent due to fluctuations in fin movement. Also, notice how the guy with the camera has no trouble at all with following along. A real sea creature would change directions quicker to avoid being followed.

I'd say that it is a hoax. But hey, what do I know? :wink:

Manatee's. Two of them.

Seen the identical wake a couple of hundred times. They sometimes make a really neat swirling motion on the surface when feeding.

Of course the manatee is not as neat a story as a monster...
