Metal Detecting in the Eastern Carribean

Is metal detecting allowed in Bermuda, or any of the islands around there. Going on a trip and would take the detector if it is allowed. Staying on the ocean front near Paradise Island. Thanks.

Are you staying on Paradise Island in the Bahamas (near Nassau)? If so, I'm just back from there and MDing is allowed. I'm told you can't relic hunt but you can MD the beaches. Not sure how they know the difference. Anyway, I MDed all over Cable Beach, near cops, security guards, and hotel staff. No worries mon!
