After my Infinium paid for itself 10 times over, I decided to read the instructiones.
After learning how to ground ballance it I went back over my pounded areas and found these. This is 4 days straight, of hard work, 9 to 5

One 18k and Plat
Two Platinum rings
Two 10k rings
Six 14k rings

Thats 95 grams.... Slightly over 1/4 troy pound !!!!

Also found a few Silver rings and clad, none of which im willing to count in.

Please let us know. I ended up buying two extra coils for my Infinium. The easiest to use seems to be the 8 inch mono, but if there is something better.......

Congrats on the nice finds.

As a side note: the other day a hunter jumped in front of me about 20 feet down the lane. After he did about 30 feet, he jumped out and kept walking further down the beach. When I hit the area he had just pounded it was target city. I ended up pulling out a 7 gram 14k ring, a 30 gram silver id bracelet, and a stainless Artcarved ring (junk to sell, expensive to buy). The day before, in the same area, I pulled out 2 small rings (one 14k with diamonds and one 18k with diamonds) and a 58 gram silver Figaro chain. I can't believe all of the silver I have found lately and all gold plated.

It pays to hit an area that has potential to produce a couple of times.....

I found all those with the 10 x 14 that came with the detector.
I had been using the 8" mono but took a fall when hiking in and smashed it on a rock which ruined the coil.
