Spent about 24 hrs over a ten day period detecting in the Myrtle Beach area, without much luck. Found one 14k 7gm ear ring and a ton of junk. I know the good stuff is out there, but the beach and the ocean both were flat as a pancake, not much sand being moved around. Found probably fifty or so bobbie pins, boy are they a pain in the you know what. Had a great time though and will probably go again before it gets too cold. Oh hey, sights like pic #2 kind of make up for the lack of goodies. HH Gene

That is a gorgeous sunrise. Can't say you didn't give it a good shot. Any Gold is better than none this time of year.
