Made my permanent move to Florida 2 1/2 weeks ago. I've gotten 4 silver rings so far but nothing gold yet... Thought I had a gold earring that kept slipping through my scoop but Les was nearby and came to the rescue. We both thought it sounded good but turned out to be a small aluminum grommet. ugh. here are the 2 latest silvers. found the one with the stone on Tuesday and the band today.

the gold has been sold to the many buyers on craigslist or one of the many stores up and down U>S> 19/27/41/301/A1A/interstate 4 and other places due to lack of jobs and people needing to buy groceries.

I've noticed the same thing over the past 3 years, it's been getting less and less each year. and alot of folks have figured out the "leave the jewelery at home" thing too. It's not like they don't know what we're looking for. :dontknow:

Nice rings. The gold will come. Some people would give anything to find some nice silver rings like yours. I know I will be looking at one of your gold finds soon. Good luck. :icon_thumleft:

Any day you find a ring is a good day!!!!! The Gold is there. Unless you've decided to make a job out of hunting, relax and have fun. Enjoy the beautiful part of the state you've moved to. Leave the detector at home every once on a while and soak in those fantastic beaches!!!!!!!!

people are stupid and vain! the gold is still there. but...........
on a recent day at my local beach i witnessed a girl remove her necklace before entering the water then chase down her friend or sister and take her necklace back up to the towel.

i do believe detectorists that insist on hunting during peak depositing hours, noon-six pm are reminding the depositors to not wear there goods into the water.
