hot spot today
What was suppost to be a one hour beach hunt turned out to be a four and a half hour beach hunt. Alot of deep coins. I found some buffalo nickels, 1941/1943/1952 nickels, a couple wheat pennys, a couple 1960 quarters, one junk ring, stainless steel spoon, and a bunch of clad. It was very cold outside, I sat in my car for about 5 mins, and started hunting again.

One heck of a beach hunt to find those old coins. Those buffs are great.

Sometimes the treasure Gods smile at the detectorist with the will to hunt in the cold. You did well.

Re: hot spot today
A very rewarding day of hunting with all the clad coinage.
A dedicated hunter seems to avoid a lot of the competition
and somehow survive in the cold weather of winter. My
hat is off to you.......well done. Gold Nuggets
If Gold is where you find it, I need to look somewhere else.....

Re: hot spot today
My guess is that you found a beach that has not been hunted in a long time, if ever. There is more where that came from. Go back and do it again. Gold is awaiting...... HH, Ralph

Re: hot spot today
With that amount of coins you found I believe that there may be probably some gold there.
