Wow... I didn't really see this coming.
Jason had bowling tonight, so it was just Rob and I for the low tide. We decided to head to Naha to the beach were Rob got bit by that fish.
The first 30 minutes were rather depressing... netting a lone 10 yen coin for my efforts. Rob and I talked briefly about how pathetic things were and decided to work for another 30 minutes before we made any rash decisions.
The following half hour turned productive and it wasn't long before I had 1,000 yen. Even though things were starting to look up, Rob and I decided to slowly work the wet sand for a bit and then possibly shag out on this beach.
And that's when things REALLY turned around for me... coins were leaping out of the ground. Not only that, I had 2 rings to show Rob within the first 20 minutes in the sand. It was unreal.
Before too long, I found the pay streak on the beach and worked that for the rest of the time there. Up and down the beach... following the water line proved very beneficial... netting many many rings.
Unfortunately, no gold or pt showed up tonight. But trust me... it wasn't for a lack of effort.
Here's the booty for the night:
4,681 yen $62
13 rings (4 junkers) 9 silver-- 43 grams
misc cheap junk jewelry
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
